There's a bus connection into Tiverton or a lovely walk along the Canal from the Parkway Station. The Market Town of Tiverton has a thiving market and a fasinating museum. A day trip well worth taking. On mosy journeys, change trains at Westbury.

Freedom of Severn and Solent ticket

The Freedom of Severn and Solent ticket offers you 3 days out of 7, or 8 days out of 15 train travel across the area shown on the map. Travel as much as you like after 09:00 in the morning (all day on Saturdays, Sundays and Bank Holidays).

These prices correct as at 13th July 2024
3 days out of 7 - £76.00 (that's £25.33 per day) 8 days out or 15 - £102.50 (that's £12.81 per day)
Or with a railcard - £50.20 or £67.60

Children aged 5 to 15 - £38.00 or £51.25
Children on relevant railcard - £15.10 or £20.30

The ticket is not available online or from the ticket machine at Melksham Station, so if you start from there on the first day, join the train and buy it from the train manager. If you start on your first day at a station with a staffed ticket office, you must buy it there before you join your very first train.
