Edit. Ahh, another Western beat me to it!

4 - Mornington Crescent.

Which rules variant?

Melksham reversed.

Melksham reversed.

Don't see that under any rule set; using a Betty Windsor Line filter may make it a valid move, but of course that won't come into play until there are passenger trains running through Paddington.

'course, if grahame was a real IT type he would have started the No.2 sequence with Dartmouth...

In which case I'm going to play my joker and use the Pilning Gambit 😁

Err ... not the sequence I had.   Best not get trapped on the Piining Gambit - long wait to the next move.   I have five possible solutions and will accept any one of them.

That's the entire sequence, the link being "Sunday afternoon with your feet up on the sofa".  :D

I've got No.4 - but I'll let someone else have a go!

New Mills Central (or it could be New Mills Newtown, we don't have enough data).

Why not Ulleskelf?

Or Newmarket or Northampton - both suitable.   Not sure why Ulleskelf might fit.

Intended sequence is station three letter codes ... left shift and add an extra letter
SLO to LOB
LOB to OBN
OBN to BNM
BNM to NM?

It's a simpler version of the same manoeuvre - start each name with the 2nd letter of the one before,. Ockham rules, OK?

Ah yes - I see.

Funny how links can be found between almost any small set ... I wonder if I came up with a random sequence of 4 stations if someone would be able to spot a pattern and suggest a fifth!

"Only Connect" any good? - shall I post another set (or set of sets) tomorrow?
