On the train between Chippenham and Bath today, I noticed that between the western portal of the western Box tunnel and Bathampton Junction there is a building of some sort on the left hand side (going Down). Let me describe it... It's long and thin, with, at one end, a curved end with some, what look to me like, machine gun slots! It's made of brick, and is not very high in stature. Sorry, it's not a very clear description! 51.405417, -2.289681 on Google Maps to see a picture, which might help! Simply, I wondered if anyone knew what it is/was, and what is/was used for and the history around it!
