Quote The Alderney Society was established in February 1978 and over the first two years established the rites to run and insurance cover for passenger operation. Mark The cloud had a silver lining - it happened right outside the island hospital, and the X-ray operator was cheerful when called in on her day off, all be it covered in plaster because she was retiling her kitchen at the time. Mark Chris was given sedative and we had an uncomfortable night. We flew back to Southampton the next day (complete with X-rays) and drove up to Salisbury where the mess of the arm was sorted out under general anesthetic ...
