Title: 13th September - Mendip Sprinter
Post by: brooklea on September 03, 2014, 17:28:14
The Mendip Traction & Rolling Stock Group (owners of the class 108 DMU based on the East Somerset Railway) have chartered a FGW class 150 to run from Bristol Temple Meads to the East Somerset Railway at Cranmore on Saturday 13th September.

Leaving Bristol at 1012 with pick ups at Bath and Trowbridge, and travelling over some unusual bits of track for a passenger train along the way, including the freight branch from Witham Friary to Cranmore.

The return leaves Cranmore at 1615, allowing time to ride on the ESR's steam trains and the MTRSG's DMU whilst at Cranmore.
