Title: Plymouth to Leeds
Post by: Pb_devon on July 23, 2016, 09:51:59
An enquiry on behalf of a relative.
Plymouth to Leeds and return; out Saturday morning, return Sunday afternoon. No railcard available. Through travel on a direct Crosscountry train.
Crosscountry fare is £79.50 each way Advance Single(= £159)
Split Ticket website gives £140 (which they claim is a £26.20 saving to a “normal” ticket, i.e. open return – but not a direct like-for-like), splits at Tiverton Parkway, Bristol TM, Cheltenham, Birmingham Stations, Derby.
Any ideas to improve on that?

Thanks
