Title: "Odd" SWT train Post by: moonrakerz on May 20, 2009, 11:33:21 Not quite sure where to post this one !
Every day, 5 - 10 minutes after the 1112 SWT service to BTM leaves Warminster, a second, empty SWT (3 car 159) train passes in the same direction without stopping. I happened to be in Westbury one day when this train arrived, the driver changed ends and the train then headed off in the direction of Frome/Taunton/??. The destination board on the rear of the train said: "Stranraer for Belfast" - which I didn't take seriously ! Just out of curiosity, does anyone know what this train is ? However the bubble is no longer operated by SWT (now at Swanage) so will be a 158/9.
