Title: 08.22 Paddington to Hereford
Post by: bathgreenpark9f on June 24, 2015, 21:47:46
Today and Yesterday this service has been terminated at Great Malvern and the return working started back from there. The new timetable gives no time for this service to run through to Hereford if it is slightly late. Today and Yesterday it could have been terminated at Ledbury and the return working started from there reducing the impact on passengers. This returns us to the days of several years ago when this service and its return working became notoriously unreliable, regularly not getting further west than Malvern or even Worcester, as a result longer layovers were introduced in Hereford, now we are back where we started , a very poor show FGW and one I guess we can look forward to with regularity

On tuesday there was so much disruption that nothing was running through Charlbury before 0830 and much delayed afterwards (over running engineering works).
