The Truro City of Lights event due to take place tonight, 22 November, has been postponed until a yet to be disclosed date in January 2018 owing to forecast bad weather.

The pre-ordered standby buses have been withdrawn but train services will remain as advertised.

I was in Truro this evening at a rugby disciplinary, and guess what, the forecast weather had cleared by around 1530, and it’s been dry since.

Date confirmed as 31-Jan-2018. Massive effort in train to get a pre-Christmas feeling. If it works it'll be a masterstroke for businesses at a low point in the year. If not .........

I have now added it (albeit slightly tentatively) to the Coffee Shop forum's calendar.  ;)
