Hi all,

I'm running this poll purely to gather information for an upcoming trip.
Thank you for your vote in advance.

Personal choice if I had half a day in Cardiff to make use of would be to take a trip to Ebbw Vale, Bridgend via Barry, Penarth, Maesteg or Rhymney as those are lines that would be new to me.

My experience of these lines is largely limited to within the Cardiff city boundaries as a means of exploration on foot.  To those ends, I've found the lines from Cardiff Central to Penarth, Barry, Radyr, Llandaff, Heath and Caerphilly very useful.

Although running from Newport rather than Cardiff, the route that goes to Abergavenny and beyond gets rather splendid once you start getting close to the Brecon Beacons.
