Essential work on the UK’s oldest wooden rollercoaster will take place from Monday, July 24 until Friday, July 28 to replace a section of the rope on one of the ride’s lift hills.

Though a £5 gift card is offered to Dreamland customers who visit during that period, there is no mention of the provision of rail replacement road transport ...

Presumably that would be a free go on the dodgems?
