Post by: Chris from Nailsea on April 08, 2010, 21:35:02
From the Bicester Advertiser (http://www.bicesteradvertiser.net/news/8017540.Trains_make_extra_Wembley_stops_for_FA_Cup_semi_finals/):

Quote
Chiltern Railways and sister firm Wrexham & Shropshire will be running modified timetables over the weekend to help football fans get to the FA Cup semi-finals at Wembley Stadium.
Many trains between Banbury, Bicester North, Haddenham & Thame Parkway and London Marylebone will make extra stops before and after the games at Wembley Stadium station, which is a short walk from the ground.
Saturday's game between Aston Villa and Chelsea kicks off at 5pm, while Sunday^s Portsmouth versus Tottenham clash starts at 4pm.
For more details, see the train companies' websites or call 08456 005165.

I must learn to pay more attention to Football.. I'm meeting friends for lunch near baker street on Sunday.. I think I did the same thing last year.. It's where a lot of football fans congregate for a drink or three before going off to Wembley.. Quick change of plans maybe  :)
