it was a mistake the train didnt call at Maidenhead, hope Jo weren't on it!

19:48 London Paddington to Cheltenham Spa due 22:03

Surely 'this train has been cancelled' would have been much easier! Or am I missing something?

Only place to my knowledge it didn't call was Maidenhead.

So, if the driver forgot to stop at Maidenhead, from the Maidenhead passenger's point of view it didn't stop anywhere.

I meant the passengers planning to join the train at Maidenhead :D

Presumably those getting on at Paddington for Maidenhead got off at Reading to come back.  I hope they weren't charged an excess fare!
