Sadly not - but it is 'east of Okehampton'

*** edited to add a bit of a clue ***

Hmmm, sadly the bridge's calligraphist in residence seems not to have furnished us with any recognisable local references within his/her body of work there.

This may not help, but the footbridge in the foreground was fabricated at Exmouth Junction.

Looks like the former line between Exmouth and Budleigh Salterton, a little to the East of Littleham.

Not much clearance under those bridges. I assume this is because the former cutting got filled with refuse after closure. (It certainly means there’s quite a gradient for cyclists…)

Absolutely spot on!

That route is going to have to go on my 'days out' list.

It’s surprising the concrete footbridge has remained in use, given the general poor quality of output from the concrete works at Exmouth Junction, they’re lucky it isn’t rusting internally.

I wonder if the girder bridge had previously had a wider two way road over it, with no pavement?
