Title: Person hit by train between Bristol and South Wales - 19 October 2016
Post by: Chris from Nailsea on October 19, 2016, 17:01:09
This latest sad incident, in the Forest of Dean, caused much disruption because of the existing diversion of the main line during the Severn Tunnel electrification works.

The rail line between Gloucester and Newport was closed early this morning.

All services between Gloucester and Lydney were suspended by GWR as emergency services dealt with the incident.

GWR said buses were being laid on between Gloucester and Newport.

The railway line was reopened by 9am.
