I'm no structural engineer, but that looks like a pretty severe failure to me. Looking at google maps, I think it is the first of the bridges (travelling towards Bristol from Cam & Dursley) taking the railway under the A38. I do like the rather unusual corner bricks, unless what I'm seeing is an effect of perspective... The 16:30 from Birmingham to Edinburgh (from Southampton) was full and standing on account of the 16:03 (from Plymouth) being behind it.
So I travelled from Birmingham to Sheffield in one of the Corbyn seats on the floor. Gave up at Sheffield - I'm now in a 158 going from Sheffield to Leeds via Barnsley, in a seat. According to the "Gazette" yesterday it was the bridge on Berkeley Road, which would be where the A38 crosses back a couple of miles to the south-west. Also just rebuilt, though more so. Hard to say which from the picture, despite the skew being the opposite way. I think Gossington also had some work done on it but that was a couple of years ago.
