Title: Author reads to delayed travellers
Post by: martyjon on August 14, 2007, 10:47:15
Heard a story on Radio 4 at 10:00am this morning (14/08/2007). An author is reading her works to travellers at Reading station. The newsreader then went on, "the train operator First Great Western, the most unpunctual train operator in the country in the last quarter, is hoping she will entertain passengers whilst waiting for their delayed trains".

They ought to put her on this morning up Golden Hind to pacify those passengers seething at their 100+ minutes delay on their journeys today.

Perhaps in the next timetable this service ought to be re-named 'The Lead Donkey'.
