Title: Chiltern does a little fundraising
Post by: EBrown on September 19, 2012, 21:09:11
Chiltern Railways have spent the day doing some cycling at Marylebone Station.

Originally the target was 500 miles of cycling on two exercise bikes for the duration of the day with a fundraising target of ^10,000 for Hearing Dogs for the Deaf. The day saw the MD, Rob Brighouse cycle, the Marketing team and many others cycle!

When I left around 3.30, they had completed nearly 500 miles, but they were continuing to 8pm. Hopefully they've met their fundraising target.

Personally I think it's good to see some 'proactive' fundraising by TOCs.
