Title: Dawn Primarolo MP: We need integrated local transport as in London
Post by: chuffed on October 11, 2013, 10:38:33
As reported in Fridays edition of the Post. I wonder if she remembers how she pulled the rug from under Richard Cottrell's feet and caused the demise of Advanced transport for Avon ? (ATA).If the lady had not done that, we might now have a tram system, the envy of Manchester, Sheffield or Nottingham !

Yes she should keep her mouth shut about transport in the Bristol area. Always had plenty to say against the tram scheme for Bristol whenever interviewed by Points West.

edited for spelling

Posting my personal opinion, not as an admin on this forum:

I cannot forgive Dawn Primarolo for her role in the 1980s in preventing those original proposals for an advanced public transport system from being introduced in Bristol.
