Title: Oyster Card For Bristol?

City Alderman Paul Smith has called on First Group to set up an electronic ticketing system similar to the one used in the capital (links below.)

First said it was aware of the success of the Oyster card scheme but funding would need to come from the taxpayer.

Is this really a priority for either the TOC or the taxpayer.  If there is money to be spent, could we please have it spend to more services and lower fares?
