Title: Points Problem at Twyford - 02 Jan 14 Post by: bobm on January 02, 2014, 18:27:26 Owing to a problem with the points at the end of platform 4 at Twyford the unit on the Henley branch is trapped.
It means tonight's through services from London will terminate at Twyford with passengers having to change onto the unit in platform 5 to complete their journey to Wargrave, Shiplake and Henley on Thames. As an aside Twyford had a through service to Penzance tonight, as the 17:03 made an extra call following the cancellation of the 17:06 to Bristol Temple Meads via Trowbridge.
