Title: Fury At "Inhumane" Buses For Toddlers
Post by: Lee on January 31, 2008, 22:07:45
A scheme to bus four-year-olds seven miles to school because of admissions problems has been branded 'inhumane' (link below.)

Almost 20 families in Long Ashton have been told there are no places for their four-year-old children at either of the village primary schools, Northleaze and Birdwell, because of over-subscription.

Some of the 18 families affected face the prospect of their children being bussed to Crockerne Primary School, in Pill, about seven miles away.

Others have been offered places at Flax Bourton, Nailsea and Felton.
