Title: Train driver seriously hurt in Leicestershire train crash - 1 February 2008

A train driver has been seriously hurt in after a train hit a fallen footbridge.
The driver had to be cut free. None of the six passengers on board were injured.
This happened on the 06:31 Nottingham-Norwich East Midland Trains service formed of 158856.

it is good to see no fatalities as is normally the case with incidents like this.

dread to think what the outcome would be if in our region involving a pacer
