Trains are being delayed between Hayle and Redruth after a man was hit by a train at Camborne station.

First Great Western tweeted that trains had been delayed due to a person being hit by a train.

Police said that a man had fallen into the path of a train at Camborne station.

They were informed by Network Rail of the incident at 19.44 this evening.

Police said that the man suffered only cuts and bruises and has been taken to Treliske Hospital for a checkup.

Thankfully, only minor injuries were sustained in this particular incident, then. :-X
