The particular forum software that we use does allow for the definitions of the various 'levels' of members to be chosen by the administrator(s). In the case of our Coffee Shop forum, the following thresholds were selected (probably when this all started, back in 2007): Newbie = 0 posts; Jr. Member = 10 posts; Full Member = 30 posts; Sr. Member = 100 posts; Hero Member = 300 posts.
