Title: Transport for London geniuses or not. Post by: LiskeardRich on November 04, 2015, 22:32:35 On a recent trip to London I noticed TfL charge 30p to use their public toilets, however the turnstiles only accept 20p, 50p, & ^1 coins with signs suggesting no change is given.
Now how exactly does one pay the exact 30p fare to use the toilet? Admittedly they were Free for me as on this occasion I was accompanied by a child under 5 but still got me thinking how much additional revenue the configuration early TfL, and what a genius money making scheme installing barriers that doesn't give change and only accept denominations of coins which means an overpayment every time. https://flic.kr/p/A5Tbeg Title: Re: Transport for London geniuses or not. That implies that you will get 10p coins back as part of your change that you can then use in the turnstiles.
