London to Theale, Aldermaston, Newbury, Bedwyn

Description of line

The "Berks and Hants" Line from Reading - up the valley of the river Kennet to Crofton. Double track.


Service offered

Express services, hourly, London to the South West - but only a few stop at Newbury, and even fewer at Hungerford.

Semifast services London to Bedwyn, about every hour. Trains calling at all stations from Reading to Newbury.


Peak flows

London Commuter belt - from the line to London in the morning peak, returning in the evening.
