Post by: hoover50 on February 01, 2016, 22:52:56
Pewsey Vale Railway Society 2016 event dates are on their website -
http://pewseyvalerailwaysociety.webplus.net/programme.html

The Society meets at the Woodborough Social Club, Smithy Lane, Woodborough, near Pewsey SN9 5PL on the second Tuesday of each month at 7:45pm

Shame I work away mid-week so I am never able to attend any of the events  :(

Thanks for those dates / events ... I too have trouble getting along; not easy by public transport though to can now get there on the Pewsey Vale route 100 / 101 that was updated from today (pity that getting there is the last bus of the day / can't get back).

Really wish the new bus service well - will cover in separate thread.

Hope to get along to one or two of the event too.    This month I have a meeting with CBT next Tuesday

Community Rail in the City - http://www.firstgreatwestern.info/coffeeshop/index.php?topic=22705 where some of us expect to be around / helping and exhausted by the evening; it's also the 35th anniversary of the  reopening of Melksham Station and there's some thoughts about a co-ordinated celebration there.

Too many different styles these days for me - all mostly come under the heading 'pop music'.
I am happy to correct them to punk rock band for accuracy purposes (having checked on Wikip..)
