Title: Another 'where was I'?
Post by: Red Squirrel on October 03, 2016, 14:56:29
This odd little spot is accessed directly from the platform, via two or three steps. But where is it?

I have a similar picture saved somewhere.

My flabber is absolutely ghasted, yet again, at the incredibly wide railway knowledge of bignosemac.  :o ::) ;D

Mine too (flabber, that is).

I see my estimate of 'two or three steps' didn't allow for optimism bias.

The trees have grown up a fair bit since 1995!

Anyone know the point of this feature?

I can't find my picture. Took it 4 years ago if I remember right. It's on a memory card somewhere I suspect. I remember  when taking it I thought to myself, that'll make a good forum quiz picture.

I asked station staff at the time what the busts were all about. "No idea, mate" was the reply I got.
