Further updates on the Heralds website that he was originally removed from the tracks by a passer by, and fled before BTP arrived but returned to a second location.

Person apparently jumped from Houndiscombe road over rail bridge, near Mutley Tunnel. A member of the public than dragged said person off the running lines.
