Dear Mr Ellis,

This year marks the 950th anniversary of the most recognisable date in British history – 1066.  To mark this milestone, The London Mint Office is proud to offer you the Battle of Hastings 950th Anniversary Commemorative Medal, FREE (+£2.50 p&p).  This stunning piece depicts a scene from the battle, inspired by the intricate Bayeux Tapestry, one of the world’s greatest treasures.

Struck especially for The London Mint Office by Worcestershire Medal Service, holders of a Royal Warrant as Medallists to Her Majesty The Queen. The medal depicts in remarkable detail the Battle of Hastings, and is struck to a collector’s quality finish.  This medal is available to you FREE.

I suspect I may not have taken action when signing up for ATOC updates to remove myself from partner emails ... but I find myself slightly surprised at a medal company being a "partner" of theirs

When Blinkbox music folded last year or the year before, I got an email a few months later to say that my details had now been sold on to JD Sports and that I would be getting emails from them. I unsubscribed as soon as I got the first one.
