Title: TransWilts Community Rail Partnership board
Post by: grahame on October 27, 2016, 18:52:44
1. We have some members on this forum who have found in the past that the number of posts relating to the TransWilts line has been disproportionate to the extent it's been irritating to them.

2. With a Community Rail Partnership there are some things that - whilst they're not secret - we don't want to make a song and dance about on a public forum that Google will find.    For example, all train services get delayed or cancelled from time to time, and it's useful to analyse that ... but we really don't want potential new users finding that thread and being put off on the basis that "it's not reliable".

So we have a "TransWilts Community Rail Partnership" board here ... only visible to members who have elected to see it - and there are 43 at the moment.   In practise, I think I've started nearly every thread there as I seem to be the community's official lead on the line, but others do comment and are VERY welcome.

Over the last few weeks,  with designation, making of the service permanent, our success on the buses ... I'm getting a noticeable trickle of people asking questions about what we've done and how we operate as a CRP.   I'm delighted to answer, and also delighted if other post about their CRPs to exchange views and thought in the semi-private arena.

If YOU would like tp be 'patched in' to this board - it's not high volume - please send me a p.m. or like this post, and I look forward to welcoming you!
