From Journeycheck

Quote
Due to the discovery of a bridge defect in the St Fagans area; all Great Western Railway trains travelling towards Cardiff Central from West Wales will travel on a diversionary route.

Structural engineers are on site assessing damage and possible remedial repairs that could be made. Expectations are that no services will be able to run over the bridge in the Cardiff Central direction until the end of service 08/11/16.

Trains from Cardiff Central towards West Wales are unaffected although may be subject to alteration.

Among the cancellations .....

19:15 London Paddington to Swansea due 22:20

This train will be cancelled.
This is due to urgent repairs to a bridge.
