An interesting concept by GWR this year after the success of the WSR Autumn gala:

An image of the forthcoming station poster is also attached!

I think the text on that poster should have made it clear that it is a bus between Taunton and Bishops Lydeard.

"Travel to Taunton with GWR to connect with a  bus that'll take you to the West Somerset Railway at Bishops Lydeard."

At least the graphic at the foot of the poster sort of explains there's a bus link.

GWR train to Taunton
First bus to bishops Lydeard
Heritage train to Minehead
Another bus to Dunster
Return bus from Dunster
Train to bishops Lydeard
Another bus to Taunton
GWR train home.

Two different train companies and two different bus companies, involving multiple changes in unfamiliar locations in the dark. What could possibly go wrong !

I would have misgivings about so many changes.
Previous experience suggests a significant chance of delays, missed connections, overcrowded buses, road traffic accidents, and weather related GWR problems.

I look forward to visiting, but live near enough for a taxi each way to be affordable, rather than relying on multiple changes between buses and trains, each one of which introduces its own chance of c*ck up.
