This year we celebrate the 90th birthday of No. 6000 King George V.
Swindon-built in 1927 at the famous Swindon Works site where the STEAM Museum now resides, King George V has a rich and characterful history and occupies a special place in the hearts of railway fans all over the world.
'Have I Got Old News for You' explores the social setting of 1927 and takes a quirky look at both GWR and worldwide events that took place during the same year King George V was built.

This exhibition is free with admission and to STEAM Season Ticket holders.
