Title: Infrastructure problems causing delays between Westbury and Newbury - 29 March 2017
Post by: Jason on March 29, 2017, 09:00:59
Due to a fault with the signalling system between Westbury and Newbury trains have to run at reduced speed on the line towards Newbury.
Impact: Train services running through these stations may be delayed by up to 15 minutes. Disruption is expected until 09:30 29/03.

At one point trains were being talked past THREE signals on the up line on the approach to Lavington.

The watershed is Bruce Tunnel and, yes, Lavington is a bit further on up the same line.  I suspect after being talked past three signals that the trains were late into the Thames Valley, mind.
