Title: Station of the year nomination Post by: grahame on April 01, 2017, 03:57:33 This year, nominations for the National Rail Awards ( http://awards.railbusinessevents.co.uk ) were open to CRPs as well as to train operators. TransWilts with a choice of two designated stations chose Chippenham to enter - it has fantastic character and people and has become so much more wheelchair friendly (and with a great mix of heritage and modern) since the new footbridge was added. Very much a "people place" and every one of our four pictures (that's how the entry is made - 4 pictures without commentary) featured people!
