Title: Freight Train Failure at Mortimer - 03/05/17
Post by: Adelante_CCT on May 03, 2017, 21:07:49
4M98 Southampton to Hams Hall has failed at Mortimer around 19:00, cancelling the Reading to Basingstoke shuttles and forming a backlog of voyagers and freights in the Basingstoke area.

It would appear the loco from 4O55 Leeds to Southampton has deposited its train on Reading West curve and has been sent down the Up Basingstoke line to rescue it.

(Update at 21:30, train on the move, shuttles will start to go back to normal)
