Title: SWT Tannoy announcement for forthcoming timetable changes
Post by: PhilWakely on May 18, 2017, 10:16:50
I was walking past Pinhoe station earlier when I heard the dulcet tones of the SWT lady announcer advertising the forthcoming timetable changes.

I am not sure whether I was hearing things, but it appears she was pointing pax to a non-existent website..... www.southwesttrains.COM.uk

Can anybody confirm/deny whether I have hearing problems please?

Purely in the interests of clarity, the website of South West Trains (SWT) is actually at www.southwesttrains.co.uk - in case any of our readers may be confused.

As to whether the SWT station announcements are actually misleading - unfortunately, I have no experience of them.  Can any of our readers help?
