Remember being at Par in the early 80s seeing one of the first HSTs to venture into Cornwall on a scheduled service (Golden Hind).

Remember being at Totnes in 2001(?) to travel on one of the very first Virgin voyagers

Hopefully this new train will be more of the former and less of the latter

I suspect GWR did schedule one, but it didn't turn up...
