Title: Meeting To Be Held On Proposed Yate Area New Homes

People living in the Yate area will have the chance to learn more about plans for 5,000 extra houses for the town at a public meeting this week.The event has been organised by Northavon MP Steve Webb along with local councillors and will focus on the plans for the extra homes (link below.)

A review panel from the South West Regional Spatial Strategy is recommending building a new town of 5,000 homes on open countryside north of Yate.

Other areas of open space which look set to be developed include sites at Cribbs Causeway, Harry Stoke, Emersons Green East and Kingswood.

The meeting is due to be held at Brimsham Green School on Friday at 7.30pm.
