Does anyone remember this development?

I certainly remember it, and I thought I remembered driving past THL's test track at Earith. However, having looked up where it was (it has been demolished) I doubt that it was ever visible from the road. There is too big an obstruction in the way: the Hundred Foot Bank. I must be thinking of the French Aérotrain test track north of Orléans; it still exists and I know I've seen that one.
