Title: Forum meet up - vote for 7th or 14th January
Post by: grahame on December 01, 2017, 10:47:27
We (Bob, Chris and I) are looking to enable members to meet up to discuss responses to the GWR Franchise and Community Rail consultations.  Whether we go for something largish and more formal, or small and informal, rather depends on the response here.

By the time of the meeting, we should have lots of inputs via the forum and all had a good chance to read up and give fair thought to what we'll be saying.  Co-ordinating meetings are an excellent chance for people to back up each other's ideas and/or to talk through mutually incompatible answers to help reduce needless conflicting responses ... more weight were almost everyone is asking of the same thing, though perhaps in different words!

I’d potentially be interested. I’m on annual leave on one of those dates but can’t remember which, but may well see an event as a potential day out, if it doesn’t clash with other activities

My own attendance at any / some / all of those meetings will be entirely dependant upon how my shifts (or days off in lieu!) work out after Christmas - but I would be delighted to attend as many as I can!  ::)
