Love it ... perhaps this inspires a thread on silly things on displays.    What's wrong with my attachment here?

Presumably it was not displayed in a Class 158 unit!

Correct - a class 153 with aspirations!

I don't know. If it gets enough water enough it could grow into something like a Class 800.  :)

There is a joke Facebook group, ‘trains seen in Cornwall’ started recently.

Every post title is 158***, And every photo is titled in Cornwall, reality is very few are 158s or Cornwall. It apparently started as a running joke between some local railway men. A few spotters have got angry not understanding the joke, with comments like ‘this isn’t a 158’.

I do wonder if someone behind the Facebook page is behind this picture.

It’s 153333 I believe if it was a photo comp to guess the unit.

They may be behind the setting up of the display - but it's a real picture that I took on the TransWilts between Swindon and Chippenham at 17:36 on Saturday, 18th November 2017.

I know it’s a real pic.... I’ve been on 153333 recently with that same display.

The aforementioned parody Facebook group is here.... https://m.facebook.com/groups/259391961253607

I remember a Thames-era Turbo running around with the two-line cab front display showing its usual

     SORRY
     OUT OF SERVICE

...except that the second line wasn't functioning. So this poor train was just running around saying "SORRY".
