Title: Britain's bossiest town
Post by: grahame on December 02, 2017, 14:25:09
Britain's bossiest town - from The BBC (http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-devon-42193092)

Quote
A town is to review its "oppressive" signage after a scathing review from a tourist who said he felt "bombarded by notices".

A visitor to [snip] in [snip]'s online review said: "Absolutely everywhere I looked there was a sign telling me to comply in one way or another".

The signs include advice about keeping dogs on leads, and how to feed birds.

Before you click on the link, where do you think it might be?

Come on folks, stop swanning around. These signs are this town's cygneture. Can be quite black at times  ;)

In the spirit of QI, perhaps nobody wants to risk provoking the claxon by posting any of the following suggestions:

a. Melksham;

b. Taunton;

c. Totnes;

d. Dawlish;

 ::) :o ;D
