Title: Missing option from the GWR journey planner
Post by: grahame on December 11, 2017, 17:26:35
Melksham to Salisbury tomorrow for a 10:30 appointment. GWR journey planner offers:
06:38 off Melksham, 07:36 arrival at Salisbury
09:15 off Melksham, 10:31 arrival at Salisbury (da&*)

Melksham to Southampton tomorrow. GWR journey planner offers:
06:38 off Melksham, 08:09 arrival into Southampton (calls 07:36 at Salisbury)
07:49 off Melksham, 10:04 arrival into Southampton (calls 09:33 at Salisbury)
09:15 off Melksham, 11:04 arrival into Southampton (calls 10:31 arrival at Salisbury)

Hmmmmm ...

That's a new fault on me that I've never heard of/seen before. Have you tried several dates?

0749 departure is change at Chippenham and Bath. It i probably a quirk in the routeing guide which allows it for the longer journey but not the shorter

It probably is such a quirk ... disappointing where service is so infrequent that it eliminates seriously useful options.
