Title: Hi from Tulyar5
Post by: Tulyar15 on December 28, 2017, 15:19:18
Hello everyone,

Some of you may know me from the Signalling Forum, though I've not posted on that for quite a while. I'm a lifelong enthusiast, my maternal grandfather was a lifelong railwayman on the Worcester Division of the old GWR, later BR Western Region. He was a stationmaster at a number of stations there, latterly Malvern Link.

I work in the public sector, commuting from Chippenham to London 3 days a week. I have also volunteered on one or two heritage lines over the years including the Avon Valley Railway and the Strathspey Railway.

Indeed a very warm welcome.

Thoroughly enjoyed my trip on the Strathspey Railway.

I didn't get up there this year but for the previous two years I spent a week manning the Booking Office at Boat of Garten station. I stayed in Carrbridge at the Cairn Hotel which was a nice. Also did some photography of main line trains too.

Welcome to this forum Tulyar15.  I think you know me from the other forum (with a slightly different user name).  Lots of signalling info on here as well (if I have my way that is ;) ).

All for more signalling discussion on here - one of my railway interests.   ;D
