Title: Accuracy of Journeycheck
Post by: martyjon on February 25, 2018, 18:48:55
Where DO they dreg the operatives who put the information on Journeycheck from.

Bristol Temple Meads: Lifts out of order

The lifts will be out of order between platform 5 and platform 7 from now until further notice at Bristol Temple Meads station.

Above message currently on Journeycheck

BUT there is no lift between platform 5 and platform 7, the lifts serve the platforms and the subway and ONE lift serves platforms 5,6,7 and 8 as any regular user of BTM knows but a wheelchair user unfamiliar with the station and reads that message will no doubt consider themselves OK because their service departs from platform 6 or 8.

Also on the same journeycheck messages about Chippenham and Yeovil Pen Mill booking offices being closed posted twice in both instances, Chippenham at 16:45 and 16:35, and Yeovil at 09:20 and 09:02. Don't they ever check whether messages to be posted on Journeycheck haven't already been posted. Good job signallers check there's not a train in a section before they signal another into the same section.
