A woman was hospitalised after suffering a cardiac arrest and falling on to the railway tracks at Bristol Temple Meads station.

The commuter, in her 60s, fell onto the tracks at Platform 3 as a Leeds-bound CrossCountry service pulled in during evening rush-hour on Monday, March 12.

Without wishing to sound flippant, I wonder if the cost of the Cross Country ticket had anything to do with it ??

Like everyone else, I hope she recovers soon from a very nasty experience .
