Title: Out and about
Post by: grahame on April 07, 2018, 16:41:04
Can you tell me where each of these eight pictures was taken.   And what they have in common (there are several right answers I have thought of, and several more you'll probably come up with)

Please just place one picture at first ... I'm sure they will all go quickly

1. Melksham - Chris from Nailsea

2. Trowbridge - RA

Yes, it is ... walk down those steps and straight out onto the main A road without any footpath.

No4 Bristol Temple Meads.

Yes - on Wednesday, with some of the kit so new it still had the bubble wrap on it!

Just No. 2 to go, entitled

"How many men in Hi Vis does it take to dig a hole?" or "Why is railway engineering so expensive".

Ooh, that's one of those new mutant mushrooms - they evolved to pop up next to the new clip-on axle counters. It's called EAK30K, if you're looking for some in your local deli.

Probable because it is Trowbridge.

Quiz concluded, well spotted one and all

Yes, it is ... walk down those steps and straight out onto the main A road without any footpath.

Having walked from the venue of Friday's meeting to Pewsey Station that road is awful.  No footpath, a bend in the road and - for part of the way - no street lighting.
